You are invited to the book launch for the Vietnamese edition of the book De Gaulle and Vietnam by Pierre Journoud, with the participation of:

The launch of the Vietnamese version of the book De Gaulle et le Vietnam will be an opportunity to meet and discuss with the author as well as with the translators and publisher of this book.
The book traces the evolution of General de Gaulle’s policy towards Vietnam and our neighbors from the end of World War II in 1945 to his departure from power in 1969. Through the perspective of war and peace, it reveals the effective interactions between official and confidential diplomacy, and concludes with the legacy of this policy since 1969.
