Nhà Sàn Collective and Work Room Four proudly present the artist of May – Nguyen Kim Duy on this open studio session with his latest experiments.

Studied at Vietnam University of Art, graduated from Nuremberg Art Institute. Under the instruction of Professor Jochen Flinzer on July 2014, Kim Duy has returned to Vietnam with interesting drawings, respectively exhibited at Work Room Four and Heritage Space.

On the upcoming open studio session, Kim Duy will open up about a collective of his new experiments, continue his series about minimalism and metaphor he has been pursuing.

A compilation of his artwork in minimalistic style which contain concepts about space will be exhibited at Nha San Collective from 6PM Friday May 15th, with the hope that the audience will have a new experience in approaching Art.

Nhà Sàn COLLECTIVE is not a museum, a gallery or an international culture institute where completed work are presented by established artists. Just like Nhà Sàn Studio before, it is a working studio to nurture where artists can create, collaborate, be given advices, critiques, and have chances to meet with international artists, curators. Works that are presented at open studio every month could be finished or not, but the process of developing idea and working to improve the quality of the art work for local artists is what Nhà Sàn COLLECTIVE focus on.
