The exhibition showcases Ty’s (real name Mai Hoang Minh) 20 choice artworks, created during the period 2006 to 2012. The subject of most Ty’s paintings are daily activities of farmers and fishermen: scarecrow, duck-raising, fish-market, praying for fishes… His images of people and animals are completely stylized and simplified, serving merely as vehicles to express the artist’s innermost feelings.

The paintings of Ty convey the author’s deepest emotions, as well as those of his characters. They have entered several exhibitions in France and the USA; and are quickly becoming collectors’ favorite.
