After over two years of construction, Hanoi museum is now going to be inaugurated and put into use. This work has great meaning to Hanoi capital in particular and the whole country in general.

Hanoi Museum officially was started constructing from 19 May 2008, with the expenditure of 2.300 billion dong, locating the national conference center of Me Tri Commune, Tu Liem. Hanoi museum is the place keeping and showing off cultural heritages reflecting the process of existence and development of Hanoi capital and the cultural address of Hanoi people as well as of people in the whole country and foreign partners.

The museum has the total area of nearly 60 thousand square kilometers with the structure of upside down pyramid, making the museum of Hanoi have unique architectural features..

As scheduled, the building will be inaugurated on 06 October 2010, on the occasion of the great anniversary.
