Photo exhibition “Behind the Dreams”, comprising work by ten young migrants in Hanoi.

Organized by United Nations Youth Theme Group (UN-YTG) , PhotoVoice project “Behind the Dreams” is the result of the co-operation between staff from UN-YTG, International Organization for Migration (IOM), United Nations Volunteers (UNV) and two volunteer artists. The project encourages vulnerable, young migrant people to share their lives, experiences, concerns and hopes for the future when living in Ha Noi by taking photos on their own lives and writing their own stories.

Through photography young migrant individuals found confidence in their voices and were able to speak out their challenges, difficulties, concerns, fears, hopes and dreams. The project hopes their voices will be heard and appreciated with widespread attention.
