From the organizer:
This month FVH would like to present the documentary Film “Green Meadow”.
Filming, narration and script was all accomplished by a group of seven young children.
“Green Meadow” was their effort to show people about the true life of people in Bai Giua, (“Middle Bank”) a small area near the bank of the Red River, where around 20 families live in floating houses on the river.
The documentary was not pre-scripted or directed towards any topic but was purely composed and formed from the reality of the children footage.
Living in Bai Giua is a hard life, but to these children, it’s a life full of love because people are equal. They are not a subject to be defined by others.
Each child filmed their own footage, according to their own decisions and the children jointly developed the overall story line through consensus.
The films total time 45 minutes. Vietnamese with English subtitles
Cost: 120,000vnd
Limit: 90 participants
