Artist Ilza Burchett (MA), who also writes Art reviews for Hanoi Grapevine, offers ongoing classes in Drawing, Watercolour and Art Appreciation at her studio / home.

Ilza has forty years of professional experience as a practicing artist internationally and has previously conducted lectures and workshops for art educational institutions in Sydney, Australia.
Art classes: Learning the more structured, professional approach to art, exploring one’s artistic abilities and the materials at hand.

Learn the fundamentals of drawing: how to use a line, depict shapes and forms, compose.
Each lesson will be treated as a step by step progression of acquiring and refining the artistic skill of drawing.
– Drawing – Weekly: Monday and Thursday, 1:30pm – 3pm; 600,000 VND per lesson

Learn the fundamentals of watercolour technique: colour and its application.
Each lesson will be treated as a step by step progression of handling colour and watercolour technique.
– Watercolour – Weekly: Tuesday and Friday, 1:30pm – 3pm; 600,000 VND per lesson

Learn about Visual Art and how to analyse a work of art.
Each lesson will be treated as a step by step progression of acquired and applied art – knowledge.
– Art appreciation – Weekly: Wednesday, 1:30pm – 3pm; 1,000,000 VND per lesson
