This year the music world celebrates the 150th anniversary of the birth of German composer Richard Strauss (1864 – 1949). In honor of this occasion and in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut, the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra will present the Vietnam premiere of two pieces by Richard Strauss: the Horn Concerto No. 2 and An Alpine Symphony, op. 64.
