Following serial concerts to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, we proudly presents a concert performed by Saigon Wind Ensemble in collaboration with guest artists from Washington State University (USA): “WIND MUSIC FROM AROUND THE WORLD”.
Through the remarkable wind ensemble repertoire from European dances and American movies, we would like to welcome the audience to a celebration of wind music of different cultures from throughout the world. We feature the talents of special guest artists Dr. Martin King (Horn) and Dr. Troy Bennefield (Percussion/Conductor). Especially, our guest conductor Danh Pham and The Saigon Wind Ensemble will perform some pieces from the soundtracks of Star War series, composed by John Williams, which is one of the most favorable film music in the world till now.
