From the organizer:

By listening to their stories and collecting their “pieces of failure”, the Museum of Failure has found strength and motivation from a lot of individuals who seem to have failed at something. Those pieces can be a clapperboard used in a film project that was put off, or a handwritten business plan with some initial ideas that were never put into action. They don’t exist as a symbol of success, but in one way or another, they lead and force their owners to keep going. Objects lie still in one place, humans don’t.

The Museum of Failure aims to provide a space where people can share thoughts and create dialogue on failure. Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with the objects, stories, and their owners, from which they may learn to see failure as an opportunity for improvement and optimism, learn to face it and to change themselves because of it.
