In the October edition of Cinema Weekend we invite you to the screening of Bao gio cho den thang Muoi (1984). Especially, after the screening, the audience will have the chance to discuss with People’s Artist Dang Nhat Minh.

Bao gio cho den thang Muoi (When the Tenth Month Comes) is a drama film by director Dang Nhat Minh, first made public in the 1984. The movie was voted as one of the classic movies of Vietnamese cinema. On 15 Sep 2008, CNN listed Bao gio cho den thang Muoi one of 18 best Asian films of all time.

With a woman as the main character, director Dang Nhat Minh amplified the gracious hidden beauty in the soul of Vietnamese women. Bao gio cho den thang Muoi is a film of rich cultural identity, a success of Vietnamese cinema at the beginning of the 1980s. [Wikipedia]
