The black and white film “Le drame de Shanghaï” (The Story of Shanghai) by German director Georg Wilhelm Pabst was produced in 1938. This is a French movie with English and Vietnamese subtitles.
The surroundings of the film were shot in Vietnam. Ky Duyen, one of the top Vietnamese actors at that time, was casted in the film.
