Eastern European Film at TPD

From TPD:
TDP will host a film screening themed “Eastern European Film” with the participation of director Phan Dang Di. The films being screened include: 4 Months 3 Weeks & 2 Days (Romania).

Language: Romanian with Vietnamese subtitles.

Eastern Europeans countries from Russia, Czech to Poland, Romania, Hungary or Serbia, Croatia is the land of talented filmmakers. From Sergei M. Eisenstein, Andrey Tarkovskiy, Mikhail Kalatozov, Andrzej Wajda, Jiri Menzel, Milos Forman, Roman Polanski to the most recent directors such as Nikita Mikhalkov, Cristian Mungiu, not only do they succeed in the domestic film market but their names are known in all over the world.

Agenda:
– 2 pm: Talks on Eastern European film
– 2.30 pm: Screening of 4 months 3 weeks & 2 days.
– 4.30 pm: Discussion on the film

The Centre for Assistance and Development of Movie Talents was established with the purposes of designing and implementing programs to assist and develop movie talents and other activities for the development of Vietnamese cinema.
