From deCult:
You are welcome to attend our Art Talk 04 with Australian dancer & composer Paul Mason.
In this Art Talk, Paul Mason, Australian dancer and composer will share with you his experience with practices of music and dance around the world. Music and dance are cherished by many societies as a distinctive and valued part of cultural production. Beyond being interesting for their own sake, music and dance have much to tell us about individual and cultural expression. Learning about different musical and dance cultures applies to the real world, because different genres of music and dance are a doorway into the cultural worlds of others. Learning a new language can take a long time, but learning new ways to move and groove can facilitate the process of bringing people together.
