The history of German cinema has gone through many changes since the Second World War. Germany Year in Vietnam presents an opportunity to look back at German cinema’s history. Every two months we will feature a decade in cinema history, presenting films which defined their times, films which were talked about, which shocked and impressed and which led the way for German cinema in both East and West Germany. In March we focus on the 60’s, a time which was defined for Germany by the division of the country.

Another “Germany in Vietnam 2010” event. See our Feature Page for info on more events celebrating German Year on Vietnam.
