TPD Center will organize the 33rd short films screening for young filmmakers. The three short films named Tieng Duong Cam (The sound of piano), Mat na (The mask), and The small pieces will be introduced in the program.

The screening of the three short films:

Tieng duong cam (The sound of piano) – by director Hai Ninh
Synopsis: A young butcher is often obsessed with the sound of the piano coming from a small attic. There isa secret between the butcher and the piano sound.

Mat na (The mask) – by director Hoang Thanh Dong
Synopsis: Human beings are made of frequent changes…

The small pieces – by director Trieu Quang Huy
Synopsis: A young girl wandering on the wind-blown field to find fragmental pieces of a doll in order to put them back together.

Trieu Quang Huy is a young director who spent 10 years studying at and graduated from Full Sail University in the U.S (one of the top universities of cinema in the world). He used to work for Universal Studio Orlando and has produced a number of video clips for famous American rock bands such as Condemn the Infection, White Noise, The Supervillians, and Solilla CC.

The screening is non-profit and provides free entrance.

The Centre for Assistance and Development of Movie Talents was established with the purposes of designing and implementing programs to assist and develop movie talents and other activities for the development of Vietnamese cinema.
