“Me” Project: calling for sponsorship

From Life Art:
“Me” Project is designed by Life Art in collaboration with The Will to Live center, to bring a safe environment where 25 young people with severe disabilities to explore and gain insights about their own body images, emotions, fear, and hope through creative process. The project is calling for sponsorship from individual and organizations.

The three phrases of the project:
Phase 1: “My inner self”
This phase includes 3 full day workshops, implemented in one month. The first workshop day will be organised in 24th November 2010. In this phase, the participants will get in touch more closely with their inner self, facing past memories and emotions, re-naming themselves. The
objective is to gain a deeper understanding of self and thus, becoming more confident. This phase is also when the participants review the path they have been on, their achievements and failures, the obstacles and inspiration, dream, fear.. for the future. This experience will be facilitated by Life Art through a process using various visualisation story telling techniques.

Phase 2: “This is me”
This phase includes 2 full day workshop with the purpose of enabling the participants organise and put together whatever they had explored in the previous phase. The presentation of this finding will be done in a creative form. This phase is also when the participants connect with each other more closely and use their creativity and wills to challenge the barriers and physical limitations, to tell the story of themselves.

Phase 3: Connection and sharing
The 3rd phase of project will be a special sharing time between the participants and the wider audience. From what they had put together in the 1st and 2nd phase, the participants will tell the story and share their findings with invited guests.

A. Project Budget:
Total budget of the project is 180,000,000 VNĐ, 80% of this is funded by Life Art 35,100,000 (20% remaining fund) will be raised to ensure sufficient operation. Your contribution to this unique project will be immensely important.
