Contest for Vietnamese young painters: “The Republic of Korea in the eyes of Vietnamese painters”

From the organizer:

The painting contest “The Republic of Korea in the eyes of Vietnamese painters” will be held from 01 Oct – 01 Dec 2015. This is the first time the Korean Cultural Centre organized such an art contest for local painters under 35 to express their deep insight into Korean culture via their works and promote cultural exchanges between two countries. The most outstanding works will be awarded by the judging board including top painters from ROK & Vietnam and exhibited at the Centre from 01 – 10 Dec 2015.

Eligible: All Vietnamese painters under 35 years old

Time for submission:
+ By email: 1 – 10 Oct 2015
+ Direct/By post: 20 Oct – 20 Nov 2015

Prizes:
+ The grand prize: a week-long paid trip to the RoK in 2016, and opportunity to organize solo exhibitions in Korean Cultural Centre in 2016 at no expense.
+ The first runner-up: a week-long paid trip to the RoK
+ The second runner-up: $300 USD (KCC)

How to submit works:

+ Round 1: Send the high resolution photos of works to [email protected] with email subject “Contest for Vietnamese young painter” from 01-10 Oct 2015, attach the author’s information and a photocopy of ID/birth certificate.
+ Round 2: If selected, the author will send their works directly or by mail to: Korean Cultural Center, 49 Nguyen Du Street, Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi and the form with details of works.
