From Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam:

The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam proudly presents a short contemporary dance piece “Traditional chronic stick syndrome – Japanese Edition” by Akudo, on Wednesday 21 & Saturday 24 September 2016, as a part of Europe Meets Asia in Contemporary Dance Festival 2016 in Hanoi.

Akudo is a dance unit formed by Nakamura Shun and Utagawa Shota. The unit was named after the title of their first award winning creation. Since meeting at the dance club of Daito Bunka University in 2010, they have danced together for 6 years.

Their activities are not limited to the stage. They also organize flash mobs as well as conducting workshops at schools or in unusual locations like the airport.
