Two short fims about HIV/Aids in Vietnam.
“Why is there no Moon in the Daytime” (2005, 12 mins) offers insight into the life of a pregnant mother who discovers she is HIV positive.
“Two Sunflowers” (2007, 40 mins) is a documentary about two HIV positive women and their efforts to transform their lives and build a future for their families.
There will be a discussion after the films with some of these “Sunflowers” who provide a positive and uplifting example to others faced with these difficult circumstances.
Both films are in Vietnamese with English subtitles.
