The Second Comic Book Festival in Vietnam

From Wallonie-Bruxelles Delegation:
Wallonie-Bruxelles Delegation in Vietnam and Kim Dong Publishing House in collaboration with Embassy of Canada and Francophonie Universities Agency organize “The Second Comic Book Festival” in Vietnam.

At the opening, two comics exhibition “Cat’s image in comics” (of Vietnam) and “Spirou, the best European comics magazine” (of Wallonie-Bruxelles – Belgium) will be presented with the participation of famous Belgium author Stephen Desberg and Sylvain Lemay, Canadian lecturer of comics. The exhibition will satisfy public at any age.

In addition, two guests of festival will exchange and discuss experience with Vietnamese authors and artists through one training course about writing scenario of comics and they also have a meeting with students of Hanoi University.

One important activity in this festival is conference “Comics publishing: Challenge and Prospect”. The conference will have a lot of Vietnamese and Belgium Publishing Houses.
